1 .MANUFACTURE AND MAINTENANCE ILDIZOLUK
Rainwater system is manifactured by lldiz Donatim San ve Tic. A.Ş. from rollformed color steel. These coils have been coated on both sides with a high corrosion preventing primer.lt is more durable than zinc and plastic gutters. Than the process is followed by a baked on paint finish coat to the outside surface of gutter. In order to protect the gutter during manifacture and installation, a plastic protection film is applied to exterior surface. When the application is finished, the plastic protection film should be removed.
ILDIZOLUK can be applicated easily, moreover ILDIZOLUK can be bent and cut to solve some details such as internal and externel corners, and stop ends without using any extra accessories.
The gutter brackets, which are used for fixing of ILDIZOLUK, are hidden in the gutters. The form of gutter brackets can stabilize the gutter opposing to the pulling force on connection points. So ILDIZOLUK isn't bendable because of the snow load, rain load and the like.
The inside of gutters should be kept clean. On the connection points of gutters and downpipes.filter should be used, so the aggregation and debris can be stopped. Also by both of the gutters; the gutter brackets, which are the closest to connection points should assembled to the gutters with rivets
2.GUTTER BRACKETS
Check the fascia board is stragiht. If not, the brackets will have to be packed accordingly. Determine where the downpipes are to be placed. Allow about one downpipe every 15 metres. Determine the high and low points along the fascia for bracket placement allowing 20 mm fall to each downpipe. Install a gutter bracket at each high and low point, using 3 twist nails per bracket. Run a string line from the top of each high gutter bracket to the top of each low gutter bracket. If the horizantal roof line is greater than 7 metres, then a center line gutter bracket should be installed. Using twist nails, install gutter brackets at 900 mm centers parallel to the stringline or at 600 mm centers in high snowfall areas.
3.TO JOIN NEXT LENGHT
To join next lenght, cut lenght as figure. Place silicone sealant on the mounted lenght of gutter. Clip cut lenght to gutter brackets and slide into position allowing 40mm overlap. Place 3 rivets along the bottom gutter join and 2 up the front face. Silicone over all rivets and joins. The manufacturer recommends that the gutter be riveted to the brackets at each end of the
lenght. Silicone over all rivets.
4.INTERNAL CORNERS
Cut two lenghts of gutter as figure. Mount each piece to brackets. Silicone all joins and slide corner into place. Place 3 rivets up the exterior face as figure. Silicone over all rivets and joins.
5.EXTERNAL CORNERS
External corners are to be cut as figure. Clip the pieces of cut gutter to the brackets. Place silicone sealant 20 mm along all joins and slide into position. Rivet as figure. 5ilicone over all joins.
6.DROPPER OUTLETS
Using a builder's pencil, place dropper outlet on the centre section, and draw around it. Punch a hole through the base of the gutter and proceed to cut out the marked area using tin snip. Mount dropper outlet as figure placing silicone sealant along all joins. Rivet all joins, 2 rivets per join. Silicone over all joins and rivets. Cut ends of dropper outlet section of gutter as per figure.
7.STOP ENDS
Where the gutter starts from a wall or other external face, cut and fold the gutter as per figure using silicone sealant along all joins. Rivet as per figure. Silicone over all rivets and joins.
